Enemy soldiers ran away and informed Siddi Jauhar that, Shivaji Maharaj ran away. Jauhar was shocked. For a few moments, he was silent. Then he shouted and asked his son-in-law Siddi Masood to chase Shivaji Maharaj. Siddi Masood ran with his cavalry according to the way the soldiers said. Masood shouted. "Wait! Wait! " In a few moments surrounded the palanquin. Masood asked, "Who is in the palanquin?" Kahar said, "Shivaji Maharaj!" "Pick the curtain!" Masood saw Shivaji sitting in the palanquin and took them in his possession. The palanquin appeared in front of Siddi Jauhar's canopy. Shivaji descended from the palanquin and went inside. Siddi Jauhar asked, "Raje! Were you running away? " The man said "Yes, I did try." "Then what happened?" "Shivaji, you are brave. sit!" On seeing Shivaji, Fazal was very angry, this is the one who killed my father and Jauhar is praising him. He shouted Jauhar, "Are you praising the enemy?” In an even sharper tone, Jauhar shouted "Silence!" Raja Saheb is my guest.

At that time Shivaji Raje was passing through a narrow valley. Suddenly, Baji Prabhu requested him that I will stop here. You quickly move towards Vishalgad. Until you reach there, I will not let the enemy cross. Shivaji was in a state of confusion, But there was no time for thinking. Baji said, "लाख मेले तरी चालतील पण लाखांचा पोशिंदा जगला पाहिजे" Half the soldiers stayed with Baji Prabhu and a half went with Shivaji. It was decided that the information to reach Vishalgad will be given by firing a cannon 5 times.
Bajiprabhu stood at the face of the valley. Soon, the cavalry arrived under the leadership of Siddi Masood, son-in-law of Siddi Jauhar. He tried to enter the pass, But the Maratha soldiers tied the shroud on the head and started cutting their heads. A terrible war broke out. The sun rose, but Baji Prabhu did not allow him to enter the valley.

One by one, the soldiers were collapsing. Bajiprabhu had also got hundreds of wounds, But they did not have time to die. His ears were eager to hear the sound of cannon. The enemy army was also surrounded at the gate of Vishalgad. While cutting them, Shivaji reached the fort and ordered to fire the cannon.
As soon as Bajiprabhu's ears heard the sound of the cannon, his injured body fell on the ground. Shivaji Raje reached Vishalgad and kept waiting for that dear friend, But his life had merged into the eternal by completing the goal. The practice of Bajiprabhu Deshpande was successful. Since then, Ghodkhind (valley) has been called the Pavan Khind.
