Once one of the university had displayed a quote about Education which was becoming quite famous after it reaches to the corners of the world. The displayed quote was, The quality of education decides the future of the nation. Without high-quality Education, you can not make your country stronger. The Great Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar said, if you read throughout your life, then only you will be able to survive in this world with respect.

We all know the importance of education. India has a good education system in the world & by learning new things it could be better in future. COVID-19 was declared as a pandemic by WHO last year. All world still fighting against it. The schools & colleges were closed due to the lockdown. The intensity of COVID-19 is getting low day by day in India. India also launched vaccines on COVID-19. The nation will be recovered from this loss.
Confusion of exams
In June 2020, all the states of India started to unlock the things time by time. It was decided by the government to open school & Colleges virtually. Online classes were started in June, students were attending according to their networks. To take online lectures & online exams, the infrastructure is not that much good in our country. Students & teachers were finding it so difficult while getting into the virtual learnings.

Now the main problem of students was how to give the exam from their native places. Universities all over Maharashtra declared that the exam will be online for backlog papers. As scheduled time, the backlog exams were taken in time by Universities in Jan 2021. Students were expecting that their regular exams will happen after these backlogs, but unfortunately, it didn't happen.
Lack of management
The University had led MCQ-based online assessments for the backlog students. From one perspective, the specialists from various fields said, students were cheated in exam and students have not paid attention to exams properly. They also criticised the students for giving exam in groups. But here the question is how can you say this because universities had mentioned in the notice, That the exam will be held online in the proctored method. What do you mean by proctored method? In simple words, it means while giving the exam, students will be under supervision. The audio & camera will be on. Still some people blaming students for copy & misconduct.

This is not the only problem, the problem was the system was not so good. The faulty system was used by the respective authority, that's why students were facing the login & network problems. Students are not opposing to the exams, they are against the system used by the University. If you are teaching through the online mode, the exam should be taken in that mode only. The syllabus was completed around November 2020 & now students will be giving exams in mid-March 2021. It means students have faced a big gap of 3-4 months already. After this gap, I will say all students are blanked about what they have learnt in last year. That's why they are insisting about online exams & that too from home.

Still, universities are confused, how to take online exams. Whether it should from home or college campuses. Many of the students are living in their native places & how will they come for the exam in colleges. Hostels are closed, it is very difficult to find a place to live. If you look around, you will find that COVID-19 crisis has started to recover. Malls, multiplex, sports ground, restaurants, schools are already open. Then why colleges are not started yet, there is a big question mark. I hope Universities will understand the problem of students.
